Meet Our Team
Her passion and genuine love for this realm of healthcare led her to open her own private practice. Now, starting off in telepsychiatry she is answering her calling as a PMHNP to care for patients in need of treatment for addiction diseases and mental health disorders.
Meet Mrs. Heather Crowder-Kalla, PMHNP-BC both licensed in Alabama and Georgia. Mrs. Crowder-Kalla has been in the mental health/ addiction field of healthcare for more than 14 years. She has practiced as a NP for the last 3 years providing care in an inpatient crisis stabilization unit, treating all diseases of addiction and all mental health diagnosis. After becoming a NP she kept seeing the need for more psychiatric outpatient services in her area. She noted how effective telepsychiatry can be for patients in rural areas with limited support, transportation, have busy schedules, or a medical issue preventing them from coming in person. Thus, Oasis Psychiatric Service, LLC was born as a first telemedicine service with the goal in the future of having in person services as well.
